Hotel Review - The Vijayran Palace Jaipur

Ever since I moved to north India, I had planned to travel to Rajasthan. However, then came the Coronavirus pandemic and just like the rest of you, I was stuck at home. However, this July when I got to know that Jaipur has reopened for travel, the first thing I did was plan a road trip with my friends and drive down to the picturesque Pink City of India. And my first stop in Rajasthan was the Vijayran Palace by Royal Quest Resorts, which I visited earlier this month.

As I had researched online before planning the trip, I had only seen photos of the Vijayran Palace, but as I entered the gates of this stunning property, I was more than pleasantly surprised by its breathtaking beauty. Surrounded by the serene greenery of awe-inspiring Aravalli Hills, the Vijayran Palace is a plush combination of the rich heritage and hospitality of Rajasthan.

The royal entrance of the palace

The first thing that hits your eye as you enter the palace is its stunning architecture and tasteful decor, which instantly make you feel like royalty. The interiors of this regal palace are done up in rich shades of cream and gold which make it as grand as grand can get.

Since we had planned the trip on a very short notice and drove down on a weekend when the palace had many guests, we stayed in a Jharoka Haveli Suite which consists of a beautifully carved overhanging enclosed balcony (known as  Jharoka) which lets you enjoy the breathtaking view of lush green hills surrounding the palace.

As we explored the property and its well maintained lawns which make it the perfect venue for a royal destination wedding in Rajasthan, we couldn't help but notice that each aspect of the hotel has been built with meticulous attention to detail whether it's the room, swimming pool or dining hall.
