VLCC Style Statements Pune
VLCC Pune recently organized a fun event called VLCC Style Statements. Founded in 1989 by Vandana Luthra, VLCC offers all types of salon beauty services along with laser, dermatological and slimming services. The event was essentially a bloggers meet and was attended by many fashion and beauty bloggers of the city. It was a fun and informative event as we got to know about all the various services offered by them along with pampering ourselves! The event started with an introduction of the brand and a tour of the VLCC Wellness Center located in Koregaon Park.
Their marketing head educated us all about the various hair treatments, nail and eyelash extensions, body contouring and dermatological services that one can avail at VLCC. She also told us about the various technologies used at VLCC to target skin, hair and slimming related issues. They also have specialized treatments for skin like chemical peels, microneedling with radio frequency, botox and threadlift for smooth wrinkle free skin.
I was surprised to know that at VLCC you can get the much talked about Vampire facelift which is used by Hollywood celebrities. In this procedure, platelet rich plasma (a form of plasma taken from your own blood which is enriched with platelets and growth factors) is applied to your face with a dermaroller. This encourages cellular growth, stimulates healing and imparts a youthful appearance to skin. This was followed by an interactive Q&A session where she resolved all our hair, skin and slimming related queries.
We were also treated to foot massages which was absolutely blissful and left me super rejuvenated since I drive for over an hour and half daily and spend 12 hours in heels.
VLCC also makes a wide range of personal care products for skin care, hair, slimming and functional foods like supplements. These products are displayed at the center and can be purchased there.
The event was followed by a high tea and some very yummy fruits.
I had a great time at the event and was delighted to know about the vast range of services VLCC offers. What really excited me is that they carry out eyelash extensions and I am going to try it out very soon and will share my experience on the blog!
