My Envy Box March 2017
The March Edition of My Envy Box was a pretty floral printed white box and came with six goodies instead of the usual five. This month's box was an interesting mix of skincare, hair care, fragrance, makeup and wellness out of which four were full sized so it was a really good deal. Read on to see the products inside!
This month's box is what I would describe as wholesome as it covered all categories of female interest and the full sized packages are perfect for traveling and multiple uses. The only downside is that all of them are Indian brands barring one. Starting off with body care, there's Neemli Naturals Coffee and Cocoa Body Wrap. I'm a bit confused with this product because the name is body wrap while the instructions say you need to apply it on your face. I haven't used it yet but I guess I'll stick to what the name says and use it on my body.
Moving on to the fragrances, there were two samples of floral fragrances from All Good Scents - Rose and Jasmine. I've reviewed the fragrance Tender from this brand in the past (check out the post here) and think they make very affordable fragrances for daily use. Out of these two, the rose smells quite decent but since I have a strong aversion to the fragrance of all this Jasmine, I don't like the other one for the obvious reason.
Besides the mix of beauty products I mentioned wellness in the introduction of this post is because we also got sachets of Gardner Street Glow Green Tea with Hibiscus and Marigold. I am not a fan of green tea so I passed these to my mum who quite liked it.
For hair and skincare, there's a full sized bottle of Evoya Hair Nutrient which is enriched with Egg Oil. The product has good reviews, especially for hairfall but I am yet to try it. For skincare, there's a full sized tub of Wikka Beauty Potion which is anti ageing skincare product enriched with essentials oils like Chamomile German, Patchouli, Rosemary and Avocado which help in reducing fine lines, age spots and wrinkles to make your skin look and feel younger. I use this once in a while and quite like it because of its gel like consistency and non greasy texture.
The only international brand product in the box is the makeup product which is Essence Lipliner which I got in shade Honey Berry, a nice shade of pink. The only thing I don't like about My Envy Box including Essence products is that the box should essentially contain prestige or premium products and Essence is one of the cheapest brands of makeup available in the market which is more suitable for teens and college girls.
Overall a decent box with a good quantity of products. I would have been happier if it had more international premium brands instead of so many local ones. Lets hope the next box fulfills my wish!
