My Envy Box January 2017

The January Edition of My Envy Box is the Party Edition and came with an assortment of amazing beauty products and cosmetics. Unfortunately my camera was acting up so I couldn't manage to click very nice pictures :(

This month's box got me very happy because for the first time in a while, I loved all the products which came in it. What's even better is the fact that all of them are full sized. There's a lip gloss and a mascara from the German cosmetics brand Essence, a Radiance lotion by Cheryl's Cosmeceuticals,  and Hedonista hair perfume and a 5 fragrance sample kit from Bombay Perfumery. Read on to know more about these -

Starting off with Hedonista, a brand founded by a friend of mine who has done a fantastic job with a range of remarkable handmade and organic products for bath, body, hair, skin and fragrances. I've tried a bunch of their products and all are exceptionally good. What makes Hedonista stand out from the crowd is the fact that their products are so unique and niche compared to what other brands offer. Hedonista Hair Perfume is a water based formula with notes of geranium, lemon and clary sage for a pleasant and uplifting fragrance. I loved its fragrance and light formula and the fact that this is one of the very few hair perfumes available in India.

The first product is the Essence XXXL Shine Lip Gloss in 'Bright Side Of Life' which is a pretty peachy pink lip color. I tried it on and was delighted with its finish, glossiness and texture. It has a pleasant fragrance and can be worn by itself or on top of lipstick. The other product by Essence is the Lash Mania Reloaded False Lash Mascara. I haven't tried it yet but have read lots of positive reviews about it so can't wait to wear it when I go out this weekend.

Another product I'm keen to try is the Cheryl's Cosmeceuticals O2C2 Radiance Lotion. My aunt owns a salon and has been personally using Cheryl's products for a couple of years now and she told me long ago that they are great so I'm looking forward to using this one.

Lastly, there's the Female Fragrance Kit by Bombay Perfumery, a fragrance house from the city itself. This set consists of 3 feminine fragrances and 2 unisex ones. I sniffed at a few of them and quite liked them. Can't wait to use them.

Overall, this was a great start to the year by My Envy Box and I loved this box. I'm looking forward to see what they have in store for us for the rest of the year!
