October Envy Box - 3 Year Anniversary

India's favorite luxury product sampling box, My Envy Box, turned 3 this October and on this special occasion, they have surprised us with 3 extra products in the box! Another unique concept they've followed with this box is that it's black and white and there's a contest running where subscribers need to color the box and the winner gets a special prize! How cool is that?

Okay so when it comes to the contents, it's a mixed bag. To be honest, I was expecting better products so the anniversary edition was a slight disappointment for me. I'll start with the Nertia nail stickers which seems a like very low end product be a part of this box. It would make more sense if they gave us a premium product like Sally Hansen's Salon Effect Nail polish strips instead.

Another disappointment is the Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner duo by L'occitane because it's a fantastic product but it would have been better if they were a little more generous with the samples and gave us a couple more sachets. 

Then there's the full sized jar of Vert Loose Powder in Shade Miss Pink. The shade is pink and shimmery and can be used as a blush, eye shadow or highlighter. I also got a generous sample of Ayca Jasmine Body wash which is perfect for traveling. The downside is that I hate the smell of Jasmine. 

What made me happy is that after a long time they finally gave us a perfume sample. I got Dahlia Divin by Givenchy which is a strong and long lasting fragrance which is perfect for the night. 

The two samples which I loved the most are Vichy Ideal White brightening Deep Cleansing Foam which is a really nice face wash which cleanses effectively and has a really refreshing floral fragrance. I love it! Another superb product is Forest Essentials Facial Cleansing Paste which is made of a blend of rich Almond, Pistachio, fresh turmeric paste and honey among other ingredients. It smells like cake and feels really amazing on skin. It also exfoliates very well. I love it!
