Lockdown Hobbies For Lazy People

Now that we're stuck at home and can't venture outside or meet up our friends for, it's a good time to pick a new hobby. I've been a total slob this entire weekend, sitting in one spot on my bed. That's when I thought of hobbies for when you feel lazy (or you're just generally lazy) so here are some hobbies you can take up without literally getting that bum off the sofa -

Play an instrument

Music is an instant mood lifter so pick up an instrument of your choice and try learning how to play it. I always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, but never made an effort because I'm a leftie and would always get confused but I did learn how to play the keyboard. The best part is you can just sit back on the sofa and play along without ever breaking a sweat. There are a lot of online classes and videos you could refer to teach yourself.

Knit a sweater

You think knitting wool is too old school? Absolutely not. As many would suggest, knitting is extremely relaxing. You could knit while you watch your favorite series and even make a scarf or a ugly sweater for someone if you're really bad at it! Alternatively, you could learn stitching and it's always awesome to make you own clothes!

 Start a blog

Well you can see how that worked out for me :) Penning down your thoughts can be an absolutely delightful hobby. Just lay back on the sofa and start writing your everyday stories, as you would talk about them to someone you know. Once you develop a hang of it, start your own blog and keep writing. You might even end up having a ton of people following you before you even know it.

Play Games online

There are numerous online gaming options that are quite entertaining and you can literally play them without even stepping a foot out of sofa! I'm guilty of being hooked on to a silly match 3 game called Monster Buster and am totally addicted to it. I love Pubg too. It's really fun and addictive and a good way to kill time.

 Get fit

Yep. Believe it or not, you can use your sofa to do some real good work outs, proving those wrong who point fingers at people who never leave the sofa. You can do pretty much exercise your full body with stretches, press-ups, push-ups squats, tricep dips and more.

Imagine, the list of things you could actually do without moving an inch from the sofa! Could think of few more easy yet interesting ones? Let me know in your comments below.
