My Favorite Spring 2016 Trends

As much as I say that one must not be a fashion slave and succumb to trends, it's hard to resist when your favorite styles are trending. Of course the fun challenge here is to style a trend in your own unique way and wear it differently.

Here are my favorite spring 2016 trends and how I wore them -

Fringe
I've been in love with fringe forever and have it in many forms. I bought my first fringe piece (a top) about seven years ago when it wasn't even trending. When it comes to my collection, I own a fringe top, kimono, skirt, jacket and two fringe bags. Enough said! This trend is playful and I'll probably be wearing it for many years to come because I don't see myself growing out of it.

Suede
Another timeless trend here, suede is an effortlessly cool material which looks great on both clothing and accessories and I loved the rugged look it has. My collection includes multiple suede bags and shoes and I'm wearing two of them here. And look, its a fringed suede bag!!

Off shoulder
Cold shoulder and off shoulder tops are big this spring and I love them because they're cute and boho and so comfortable in the summer.

Headbands

I love hairbands and headbands and think they are a fun and unique accessory to show off your style. Though there isn't a headband for every outfit and they're not easily available but there are many fun and cute ones available in online shopping sites.

Chokers
I'm not much of a jewelry wearer but I love chokers. This Nineties style staple made its catwalk comeback for spring 2016 and my favorite style happens to be the tattoo choker! Even if you can't find them in your local stores, you can find many types of chokers and other jewellery online.

So these were some of my favorite trends and how I've worn them. What's your favorite spring trend?
