My Envy Box - April 2014

I'm not a beauty product or makeup hoarder but I love them in small doses and My Envy Box gives me exactly that. This luxury product sampling service is a fantastic beauty box concept in India and I have loved my boxes in the last few months. You can read about my previous boxes here

The April edition of this box was a cute pink color and I fell in love with it instantly!

The products in this month's box were -

Benefit the POREfessional Pro Balm

This month's box primarily focuses on skincare and includes a decent sized sample of an Almond Orange face scrub by Skin Yoga. This is a 100% natural product which came with a cute nest (haha, that's my interpretation) I'm going for a shower as soon as I finish this post, so I'm going to use the scrub right away.

The H2O Spa Sea Moss Body Wash smells divine and came in a very generous sized sample. I've read great reviews about H20's products and have always wanted to try them out, so this is perfect for me! Will be saving this one for a vacation!

There were two whitening creams in the box ( After all, India is the epicentre of the demand of a fairness creams ) by Avene and Za.

I've always been a huge fan of Shiseido having used a bunch of their beauty and makeup products and was delighted to learn that Za is one of their brands.  It was launched in India last month as is pronounced as zee-ei ( I'm sure you would have never guessed that! Neither did I!) The box has a sample of the ZA True White Day Cream. It has a very pleasant fragrance and I found it very moisturizing and creamy. The other was the Avene Sensitive White Whitening Essence. I prefer this one over the Za product as this is very light on your skin and offers just the perfect amount of moisture.

The coolest part of the box was the Benefit POREfessional Pro Balm (pore minimizing primer) which came with a Marvel Custom Edition comic book ‘SpyGal’ which is a really cute comic character made by marvel for Benefit. I actually sat and read the entire comic the moment I opened the box. The only sad part is that the sample of the POREfessional Pro Balm is really really tiny so it won't give more than one use. I use a bunch of products by Benefit and they are all great so I can't wait to try this one.

Apart from these products and the usual cards with information and usage about each product, they also sent a discount voucher for a home decor store called Monsoon and Beyond which has some really nice cushion covers.

What did you think of My Envy Box? If you're based in India, you must try this out! Priced at a reasonable Rs 850 per month, not only does the box let you sample premium luxury products but you can also buy the full sized product at their store for a discount! Great deal, isn't it?
